Jim Livengood

2010 Hall of Fame Inductee - Former Student Athlete

Jim Livengood played quarterback on Everett Junior College’s 1964 and 1965 football teams.  Recruited by assistant coach Lynn Rosenbach out of Quincy High school, Livengood went on to attend Washington State University and Brigham Young University.  He then coached for a number of years at the high school level before moving on to a career in athletics administration at the university level.  Livengood has served as athletics director at Southern Illinois, Washington State University, the University of Arizona, and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Livengood is a former chair of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament Selection Committee and was named Athletic Director of the year in 2006 by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.  Livengood has also served as Pac-10 Conference President and on the Rose Bowl Management Committee.
