Art Abrahamson
Art Abrahamson played on Everett Junior College state championship golf teams in 1954 and 1955.  He was the undisputed leader of the team, finishing as the Junior College State Medalist in both years. Abrahamson left EJC after two years and transferred to the University of Oregon.  While at Oregon, his teams won both the PAC-8 Northern Division championship and the PAC-8 championship.

Art was the Everett City Champion in 1948, Washington State PGA Champion (1957), a two-time Snohomish County Amateur champion (1958, 1958), and has nine holes-in-one in his amateur career.  He retired as the head golf professional at Moses Lake Country Club and competed in both the Bing Crosby Pro Am championship and National PGA championship.  He is retired and lives less than a mile from the EvCC’s main campus.
