Bob Whisman
Bob Whisman played golf for Everett Junior College in the 1953 season, earning state medalist honors that year. The golf program was in the middle of a highly successful run of state championships, and Whisman led that 1953 team to a state title. He continued to play during his service in the U.S. Army, earning post and Northern Division championships in 1954 and 1955.  Whisman is a five-time Snohomish County Amateur Champion and finalist for the Everett Herald’s Man of the Year in Sports in 1964. He worked as the head golf professional at both Legion and Walter Hall golf courses.  Bob passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2015 at the age of 80.  Everett Herald Obituary.
