Following her four-year letter winning high school career in cross-country and track (Lakewood High), Rachel competed at Everett Community College in the 2012 and 2013 seasons. She is a member of the 2012 NWAC Championship cross-country team that was inducted into the EvCC Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018. Rachel is a three-time NWAC All-American and was an NWAC individual champion in the 10,000 meters in 2013. She continued her career at Lewis and Clark state college, earning NAIA All-American status three times while establishing school records in the 10k and 3k events. She completed her doctorate in physical therapy at George Fox University, and is employed by the Everett School District. Rachel was also named the Head Cross Country Coach at EvCC prior to the start of the 2022 season.
