Trojans Score 99 in win over Spokane

The Trojans were back at home Saturday night as they took on Spokane. Down a few key players due to injury, Tori Odom was back in action for the Trojans in his home debut for the season after sitting out the past couple months. The gym was packed for this exciting matchup with a full Lake Steven High School band in attendance.

The Trojans started off slow going down by 9 early struggling to break Spokane's full court press. Once the Trojans got going they kept their foot on the pedal and we had a ball game. Brett Johnson gave the Trojans a huge spark off the bench coming in and knocking down 5 threes' in the first half. Tori Odom had some big plays in the first half as well coming up with a few steals and pushing the ball giving the Trojans a few quick points taking Everett into halftime up 1.

The Trojans came into the second half ready to play. As a team the Trojans shot the ball from beyond the arc well at 16-28 overall. Tori Odom had a great home debut scoring 21 points with 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals on the night. Markieth Brown Jr lit up the scoreboard in the second half finishing the game with 33 points. Jon Parker, Elijah Seybold and Brett Johnson all scored in double digits as well to help the Trojans win the game by a score of 99-96.
