Trojans Remain Team to Beat in the North

The Trojans hosted Peninsula at home Saturday night coming off a 5 game road streak. This streak puts the Trojans first in the North, looking to go for 6. The Trojans picked up right where they left off with their foot on the gas the full 40 minutes of action.

Markieth Brown Jr has had a phenomenal year for the Trojans reaching over 1,000 career points and leading the NWAC in total points this season. Markieth only took 14 shots tonight but still ended with 22 points. Magnus Jespersen was back in his groove tonight after suffering injuries earlier in the year missing a couple games. The big guy down low finished with another double double in points and rebounds. Jon Parker has been electric off the bench and tonight he put up some big numbers going 5 of 10 from 3-point territory for 21 points on the night. As a team the Trojans shot 50% from the field and an incredible 42.9% from downtown.

The Trojans are looking unstoppable in conference play and tonight marked the 6th straight win for the team after blowing out Peninsula by a final score of 96-63.
