Trojans reach 100 points in 8th straight win

The Trojans took Larry Walker Court Wednesday night looking for their 8th straight win in conference play. The last time Everett matched up with Skagit the Trojans came away with a 20-point win at Skagit. The Trojans moving Jon Parker to come off the bench has created a spark for the Trojans as he has provided a second wind when he comes off the bench.

The first half of this game was no different than the previous seven as the Trojans have been looking really good as a team after a shaky and injury ridden start to their season. The Trojans started off hot and by halftime had built a 52-29 lead over Skagit.

Halfway through the second, the Trojans stretched their lead to 77-47. Jon Parker off the bench alongside Markieth Brown Jr lead the way for the Trojans scoring 17 each midway through the second half. As a team the Trojans shot 50% from the field and 45% from beyond the arc to give them this 30-point lead.

Five Trojans finished the game in double digits. Magnus Jespersen and Tori Odom both with a double-double in points and rebounds. Brett Johnson finished with 18 points going 6 for 8 from 3-point territory. Markieth Brown Jr lead the way with 19 points and Jon Parker would finish with 17.

The final score with the Trojans passing the century mark would be 101-64. The Trojans are now 8-0 in conference play during their 8 game winning streak.
