The Trojans are coming off an 8 game winning streak. After getting some extra rest with a canceled Saturday matchup due to weather, the Trojans took on Shoreline Wednesday night at home. The Trojans came out in the first half on fire. As a team, they shot 50% from the field as well as 45% from beyond the arc. Piol Makuei played some big minutes coming off the bench providing a spark in the Trojans offense. Piol finished with 10 points and 12 assists on the night.

Going into halftime Everett had the edge with a score of 52-40. The Trojans in the Second half were led by Markieth Brown Jr who had 16 points finishing with a total of 26 points. Markieth is on route to finish with one of the highest scoring seasons in Trojan History!  He currently sits at 1,228 career points, which is 4th most all time at Everett CC, recently passing Corby Schuh from '96-'98 who had 1,200 career points.  Derek Brown Jr currently in his senior year at Portland State University holds the record for the most career points at 1,312.  Markieth would need to average 16.8 points per game in the final 5 games of the season to tie the record, but Markieth also has the opportunity of at least one additional playoff game to break the record.  The Trojans will clinch a playoff spot with just one more win.

Everett kept pace and finished the game on top by a score of 109-91 putting the Trojans over the century mark once again. That is now 9 in a row and still undefeated in conference play.
