Trojans go Undefeated in Conference Play for the first time in School History!

It was Sophomore Night for the Trojans as they hosted Bellevue in a final conference game at Larry Walker Court Wednesday night. The Trojans were looking to go an astonishing 14-0 in conference play and Bellevue made them earn it.

The entire game was back and forth and almost never got over double-digits. Markieth Brown Jr continued his race for leading the NWAC in points as he finished with 24 tonight. Jon Parker once again ignited the floor coming off the bench and going for 18 of his own. Sophomore point guard Tori Odom had a great last regular season game as a Trojan finishing with 15 points and leading his team to a win over Bellevue. Magnus Jespersen coming off a player of the week bid went for 15 points and 15 rebounds recoding yet another double-double on the season.

Bellevue was able to hang in there most of the game but in the final minutes the Trojans were able to stretch their lead and take the win by a score of 91-82. Bellevue stayed in the game shooting 40% from beyond the arc. The Trojans stayed on their game and shot 34% from 3 and 50% from the field overall.

This is the first time in Trojan history that the team has gone undefeated in conference play and will surely give them some momentum heading into the NWAC tournament that will be played right here on Larry Walker Court at Everett Community College.
