Trojans Beat South Puget Sound in Home Opener

The Trojans hosted their first game of the season facing South Puget Sound at Larry Walker Court Saturday night. The reigning North Region Champions started their season strong with a lopsided win finishing with a score of 91-66.

The Trojans return a few key players from last year as well as debut some new faces in tonight's matchup. Returning for the Trojans Piol Makuei had a good game starting at point finishing with 6 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds. Bobby Martin coming off an injury last season finished with 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting and lead the Trojans with 9 rebounds.

As a team, the Trojans shot well from the field going 57% on the night. The Trojans play their second of three games in this five day stretch tomorrow at home against Centralia at 4pm.
