Another Win for Men's Soccer

Another Win for Men's Soccer

The Trojans handled business on Wednesday afternoon against Shoreline Community College earning a much needed 3 points in the North Region Standings.  Both teams played well defensively and neither could mount a sustainable attack in the first half.

It was not until the 66th minute that the scoreless draw would come to an end.  Sophomore Kyle Sandoval scored his 3rd goal of the season, assisted by freshman Carlos Rodriguez out of Mariner High School.  Two minutes later the Trojans took advantage of another mistake, this time it was sophomore Gregor Byrne who scored his 4th goal of the season (20th of his career) and ties the man that gave him the assist Dullo Jallow who also has 4 goals on the season.

Shoreline would score late but it was not enough to sustain a full comeback and the Trojans move back atop the North Region Standings with nine points.

EvCC hosts Skagit Valley this Saturday, kick-off set for 2:15pm.
