Coming off a big win Wednesday over Shoreline, the Trojans looked to continue their streak Saturday against Skagit Valley. It was a wet one in Everett Saturday as both teams took the field. Seconds into the game, it was the Trojans who would strike first. Gregor Byrnes scored in the 1st minute of the game from an assist by Carlos Rodriguez. The Trojans continued to take control early and would never look back.

Skagit Valley was able to get off a total of 4 shots in the first half but could never get one to go. The Trojans dominated the first half but were held to a 1-0 lead going into halftime.

The Trojans continued to dominate in the second half controlling the ball well. In the 52nd minute, Dullo Jallow was assisted by Mamadi Sarr for the Trojans second goal giving them a 2-0 lead. For the rest of the game the score stayed at 2-0.

With seconds left in the game, Gregor Byrne scored a final goal to give the Trojans a 3-0 lead over Skagit. These two goals have put Gregor at 6 on the season to go with an assist. This win puts the Trojans in first with a 4-1 regional record and a 7-3 record overall. The Trojans look to hold off an aggressive Edmonds team this Wednesday to stay in first.
