Men's Soccer Takes First In the North

The Trojans have been playing well coming into today's match looking to continue their two game win streak. Today, the Trojans traveled to Edmonds looking to take sole possession of the North Region. This match would also mark the 2nd of 3 games played toward the T-Cup between the two rivals.

From the start of the match, the Trojans came out firing on all cylinders. Only 2 minutes into the game the Trojans had already taken a few clean shots on goal to test the Edmonds keeper. Everett has been playing aggressive this season in their push to continue their already successful season. In only the first 30 minutes of the game, Everett was flagged for 5 fouls with no cards given out.

In the 32nd minute of the first half, it would be the Trojans own Owen Padilla that would put the Trojans on the board. Not even 3 minutes later, Aaron (Gregor) Byrne, who has had a tremendous season thus far, would give the Trojans a second goal. Dullo Jallow would be credited with the assist.

Just when the half looked to be coming to a close at 2-0, none other than Aaron (Gregor) Byrne would put another one in the back of the net, giving him his 8th goal on the season.

Coming out of halftime with the Trojans up 3-0, both teams looked to make major substitution changes. Once again in the 73rd minute, it would be Everett's Oscar Rodriguez who would put away the game with a 4th and final goal for the Trojans.

The Trojans now sit at an outstanding 5-1-0 conference record (8-3-0 overall). The Trojans look to continue this 3 game win streak (8-2 over the last ten games) this Saturday against Peninsula at home.
