Results vs 2012 Friendlies Tournament Day #1 (8/28) - The Men's Soccer team met up with CBC in their first game at the 2012 Friendlies Tournament at 12:30pm yesterday. Unfortunately, the Trojans weren't able to score on the Hawks and weren't able to stop them either. Final score - EvCC 0 - CBC 5. 
 
Results vs 2012 Friendlies Tournament Day #1 (8/29)- On second and final day of the 2012 NWAACC Friendlies Tournament, the Trojan Men's Soccer Team played a tough 90 minutes against the Rangers of Olympic College. It was a shut out for the Trojans as they won 1-0. Fredy Lopez scored for the Trojans. This takes there overall record to 1-1-0. 
 

Results vs South Puget Sound CC (9/8) - The Men's Soccer team was in Olympia, WA to play the Clippers of South Puget Sound CC in a non-league match. The Clippers scored once in the first half while the Trojans scored twice in the second to win the game 2-1. Goals for Everett were from Grayson Knott & Jiovanni Arellano, with the assist to Omar Machias.  This win takes the Trojans to a 2-1-0 overall record.

 

Results vs Clark College (9/15) - The Trojan Soccer Teams hosted the Penguins of Clark College on Saturday, September 15th. The Men's game started at 2:15pm and Head Coach Willsie knew it was going to be a tough one for the Trojans. Clark was 4-1-1 overall coming into the game and are a powerhouse team. Clark scored quickly in the game by Eduardo Dominguez in the 6th, 12th an 36th minutes and then with Alicides Thomas in the 38th minute, Victor Garcia in the 59th minute and Sascha Pell in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, the Trojans were unable to score a goal against the Southern Regions' 1st place team. This takes the Trojan Men to a 1-1-0 league record and a 2-2-0 overall record.

 

Results vs Pierce College (9/22) - The Men's Soccer team played a league game against the Pierce College Raiders on Saturday, Sept 22. The Trojans scored first in the 13th minute by Fredy Lopez and assisted by Wondim Breen. The Raiders tied it up with a goal in the 20th minute by Mathew Solis on a penalty shot.  In the 60th minute, Jose Garibay scored on a penalty kick for the Trojans to go up 2-1. Fredy Lopez scored in the 70th minute with the assist once again going to Wondim Breen  to make it 3-1. Josh Still for the Raiders scored in the 82nd minute to take it to 3-2 and that is how the game ended - Trojans Win! This takes the league record to 3-1-0 and overall record to 4-2-0.

 

Results vs Chemeketa CC (9/29) - The Storm from Chemeketa CC were in Everett to play the Trojans in league play on Saturday, September 29th. The Men's game started at 2:15pm. At the 13 minute mark, the Storm made the first move with a goal by Caleb Buzzas and the assist to Jose Macias.  The Trojans fought back and had many opportunities to score, but were unable to. The Storm also scored in the 64th minute, by Hassan Mursal who was assisted by Caleb Buzzas.  The Trojans are now 3-2-1 in league and 4-3-1 overall.

 

Results vs Southwestern Oregon CC (10/6) - The Trojan Soccer Teams were in Coos Bay, OR to play league games with the Southwestern Oregon CC Lakers on Saturday October 6th. The Men's game started at 2:15pm. The first goal wasn't scored until the 40th minute in the first half and that was by Everett's Fredy Lopez. Going into half time it was 1-0 in favor of the Trojans. At the 64 minute mark, Chris Kirkpatrick of the Trojans scored to make it 2-0, and that was how it ended. The Trojan Men are now 4-2-1 in league and 5-3-1 overall while SWOCC Men are 1-5-0 in league and 2-6-0 overall.

 

Results vs Skagit Valley College (10/10) - The Trojans had league games with the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College on Wednesday October 10th. The Women's game began at 2pm with the Men's game at 4:15pm. In the Men's game, at 9:50 Jorge Avila scored for the Trojans and was assisted by Miki Brown. A little over 7 minutes later, Miki Brown scored for the Trojans at 17:20. At the 26 minute mark, Abel Bekele for the Cardinals scored their first goal of the game. Then before halftime, at 43:10, Everett scored again with a goal from Manny Aguirre-Granados and assisted by Jorge Avila. That made it 3-1 in favor of the Trojans going into halftime. The Cardinals came back in the second half scoring two goals to tie it up - one at 54:20 by Yosuke Fukamu and one at 63:10 by Christian Rivas. A little over a minute after Skagit scored their third goal, Miki Brown scored his second goal of the game for Everett at 64:40 who was assisted by Fredy Lopez. With this goal, the Trojan go up 4-3 and that is how the game ends. This win takes the Trojan Men to a league record of 5-2-1 and an overall record of 6-3-1. The Cardinal Men are now 2-5-1 in league and 4-7-1 overall.

 

Results vs Shoreline (10/20) - Both Trojan Soccer Teams were in Seattle, WA on Saturday, October 20th to play league games at Shoreline CC. In the Men's game that began at 2:15pm, there was only one goal in the first half - at the 40th minute by Everett's Omar Macias who was assisted by Jorge Avila. With the score of 1-0 going into the second half, that was how it ended as well, with the Trojans getting the "W". Everett Men are now in second place in the North with a league record of 6-3-1 and overall record of 7-4-1 with 19 points, 4 shutouts, 18 goals for and 22 goals against. Shoreline Men are in last place with a 0-10-0 league record and 0-13-0 overall record, with 0 points, 0 shutouts, 9 goals for and 63 goals against.

 

Results vs Edmonds (10/24) - In the Men's game with the Tritons of Edmonds CC that began at 1:00pm, the Tritons scored twice in the first half. Eli Seye in the 17th minute and Dendon Russom in the 38th minute, assisted by Carlos Videla-Pousa.  After half time, neither team was able to score thus ending the game with a score of 2-0 in favor of Edmonds. Both Edmonds & Everett's Men's Teams have secured their post season play for the Northern Region. Edmonds is 8-2-1 in league and overall 9-6-2 with 25 points. Everett is 6-4-1 in league and 7-5-1 overall with 19 points.

 

Results vs Skagit Valley (10/31) - The Men's Soccer Teams was in Mt. Vernon, WA to play league games against the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College on Wednesday October 31st. In the Men's game that began at 3:15pm, Everett scored first with a goal by Grayson Knott at the 20 minute mark.  The Cardinals rallied and scored in the 25th minute by Cristian Rivas. That was all of the scoring in the first half. 1-1 into halftime. With about 20 minutes left in the game, Grayson Knott scored again for the Trojans. Ten minutes later Trevor Cook for Skagit scored for the Cardinals to make it 2-2. At the 88th minute mark, Grayson Knott scored once again for the Trojans and that was how it ended 3-2 in favor of the Trojans! Everett Men are now 7-4-1 in league with 22 points and 8-5-1 overall, while Skagit Valley is 3-8-1 in league with 10 points and 5-11-1 overall.  

 

Results vs Whatcom (11/3) - Saturday afternoon, the Trojan Soccer Teams were in Bellingham, WA playing their final regular season league games of the 2012 season against the Orcas of Whatcom CC. The Men's game began at 2:15pm and this game was also a defensive game. The score at half time was 0-0. The only goal scored wasn't until the 74th minute and it was by Alex Gosselin of Whatcom CC. Riley Liddle recorded the shutout for the Orcas.  With this win, the Orcas secured their position in 2nd place in the North with a 8-3-2 league record with 26 points and an overall record of 8-4-3. The Trojans are in 3rd place in the North with a league record of 7-5-1 with 22 points and overall record of 8-6-1.

 

Results from 1st Round of Playoffs (11/7) - The Trojan Men's Soccer Team traveled to Starfire Complex in Tukwila, WA to play a playoff game with the Thunderbirds of Highline CC on Wednesday, Nov. 7th. This was a loser out/winner moves on to play the #1 team from the Southern Region game. The Trojans were the Northern Region #3 team while Highline was the West Region #2. The game started at 3:00pm, and in the first 3 minutes of the game, the first goal was scored. It was by David Loeung of Highline and assisted by Kyle Danielson. Highline's Austin Egerton scored their second goal in the 19th minute and he was assisted by David Loeung. Two minutes later, Cole Madden of the Thunderbirds scored their third goal in the 21st minute. He was assisted by Austin Egerton. After those three goals, the score going into half time was 3-0 in favor of Highline CC.  After a 15 minute half time, both teams came out looking to score, Everett looking to catch up also. However, at the end of the second half, the score remained 3-0 Highline. The Thunderbirds will move onto the 2nd round of playoffs and play at Clark College on Saturday Nov. 10th.  They have an overall record of 11-4-3. This loss ends the Trojans 2012 season. They finish with an overall record of 8-7-1.
