Results at 2014 NWAC Friendlies Day #1 (8/26) - The Men's & Women's Soccer Teams were at Starfire Complex in Tukwila, WA to participate in the 2014 NWAC Friendlies Tournament. The Men's game started at 12:30pm and it was also against the CBC Hawks. The Trojans struck first with a goal by James Bensen at the 41st minute in the first half, who was assisted by Adrian Cayetano. It wasn't until the 85th minute that the Hawks scored by Fredy Rodriguez to tie the game 1-1. Kurtis Spotted Bear had the assist on the goal. At the end of the regulation time, the game was still tied. Sergio Barrera had 9 saves for the Trojans and for the Hawks, Lupe Arceo had 10 saves. Both teams are 0-0-1 overall.

 

Results at NWAC 2014 Friendlies Day #2 (8/27) - Day two of the 2014 NWAC Soccer Friendlies in Tukwila, WA had both Trojan Teams getting the "W". Both teams played at 12:30pm. In the Men's game, the Trojans played the club team of the Portland CC Panthers and the first goal of the game didn't take place until about 4 minutes left in the first half in the 41st minute. The goal was made by Trojan James Bensen who was assisted by Osiel Ramierez. At the end of the first half the score was 1-0 in favor of Everett. The second half started with a goal in the first three minutes, by Trojan Adrian Cayetano. Less than 10 minutes later in the 57th minute, Osiel Ramierez had another assist, this time to Austin Panek. Trojan Jose Rodriguez had two goals, the first in the 80th minute and 7 minutes later in the 87th minute. In between Jose's goals, James Bensen scored his second goal of the game in the 85th minute. Also during the 87th minute Trojan Jered Laurence assisted teammate Cody Probst on his goal. At the end of the 90 minute game, Everett had scored 7 goals and during this time, Portland had scored 1 goal (no information on PCC goal or saves was reported). Everett's Sergio Barrera and Jesse Avelar each had 2 saves. Everett Men are 1-0-1 overall with 8 goals for and 2 goals against, while Portland is 0-2-0 overall with 1 goal for and 8 goals against.

 

Results vs Tacoma (8/30) - The Tacoma CC Titans hosted the Trojans in the first league games of the 2014 season on Saturday, Aug. 30th. The Men's game started off with a goal by Dalton Ogden in the 3 minute mark to have Tacoma take the lead. This was a lead that they never gave up, winning the game 5-0. Brian Wamboa had the assist on the first goal. Suwilanji Silozi scored in the 19th minute and again in the 66th. Keegan Crook assisted on the goal in the 19th minute. In the 37th minute, Dakota Scott scored with the assist from Jose Hernandez-Martinez. Ian Karanja had the assist on the goal in the 66th minute and then scored himself in the 68th, with that assist going to Ogden. Trojan keepers Jesse Avelar had 4 saves while Sergio Barrera had 2. Titan keepers Ian Fry and Adam Aguilar each had 2 saves. Everett Men are now 0-1-0 in league and 1-1-1 overall with 8 goals for and 7 goals against. Tacoma Men are 1-0-0 in league with 3 points, 3-0-0 overall with 11 goals for, 1 goals against and 2 shutouts.

 

REsults vs Highline (9/12) - The Trojan Men's Soccer Team traveled to Starfire Complex in Tukwila, WA to play league games with the Thunderbirds of Highline CC on Friday, September 12th.  In the Men's game, Trojan Gavin McDougall scored in the 6th minute and then in the 8th minute, Thunderbird Colton Ronk with the assist from Tyler John tied the game up. In the 15th minute, Adrian Cayetano for Everett scored the Trojans second goal. Going into halftime, the Trojan led 2-1. With three minutes left in the game, Thunderbird Alex Lewis with the assist from Tyler John tied the game once again and that was how it ended - in a 2-2 tie. Sergio Barrera had 8 saves for Everett and Greyson Raffensperger had 2 saves for Highline. Everett Men are 0-1-1 with 1 point, 1-1-1 overall with 10 goals for, 9 goals against and 0 shutouts. Highline Men are 3-0-1 in league with 10 points, 3-1-2 overall with 13 goals for, 12 goals against and 0 shutouts.

 

Results vs Bellevue College (9/13) - Everett's Men's Soccer Teams were on the campus of Bellevue College on Saturday, September 13th for league games against the Bulldogs. The Women started off at 12pm with the Men following at 2:15pm. At the 8 minute mark, Bulldog Grant Fremmerlid with the assist by Sebastian Ruesch scored their first goal. Then Bulldog Anthony Dean had an amazing game with four goals - in the 27th minute assisted by Victor Lopez, in the 32nd minute, in the 59th & 76th minutes assisted by Sebastian Ruesch on both. Trojan William Stohl scored the only goal for Everett in the 82nd minute. Bellevue won 5-1. No stats for keepers were listed on the conference site. Everett Men are now 0-2-1 in league with 1 point, 1-2-2 overall with 11 goals for, 14 goals against and 0 shutouts. Bellevue Men are 3-3-0 in league with 9 points, 5-3-0 overall with 21 goals for, 11 goals against and 2 shutouts.

 

Results vs Peninsula College (9/17) - On Wednesday, September 17th, The Trojan Soccer Teams hosted the Pirates of Peninsula College in league games at Kasch Park. The Men's game was the first game of the afternoon, starting at 2:00pm. In the 3rd minute of the game, Peninsula's Caio Maciel scored their first goal. During the 21st minute, Pirate Christopher Chertude scored their second goal to have the 2-0 lead into halftime. It wasn't until the 57th minute that Trojan Jered Laurence scored unassisted to make the game 2-1 Pirate lead. At the end of the game, that was how it ended with Peninsula winning 2-1. Sergio Barrera for the Trojans had 15 saves while Pirate Aaron Zavolokin had 9 saves. Everett Men are 0-3-1 in league with 1 point, 1-3-2 overall with 12 goals for and 16 goals against. Peninsula Men are 4-0-0 in league with 12 points, 6-0-0 overall with 17 goals for, 4 goals against and 2 shutouts.

 

Results vs Olympic (9/20) - On Saturday, September 20th, the Trojan Soccer Teams hosted league games with the Rangers of Olympic College at Kasch Park.  During the Men's game that started at 2:15pm, Paulo Mendes for Everett scored the first goal of the game at 21:30 with the assist from Adrian Cayetano. At 56:05, with the assist once again from Cayetano, Austin Panek scored Everett's second goal. Cayetano then scored himself at 60:30 assisted by Mendes. The fourth and final goal of the game was at 77:22 and it was by Everett's Julio Aguilar assisted by Panek to give Everett the win 4-0. Trojan Sergio Barrera had 4 saves and recorded the shutout while Ranger Robin Potts had 8 saves. Everett Men are now 1-3-1 in league with 4 points, 2-3-2 overall with 16 goals for, 16 goals against and 1 shutout. Olympic Men are 0-5-1 in league with 1 point, 1-6-2 overall with 23 goals for and 25 goals against.

 

Soccer splits with Edmonds 9/27 - On Saturday, Sept. 27th, the Trojan Men's Soccer Team hosted league games with the Tritons of Edmonds CC. The Men's Game began at 2:15pm and at the end of the first half the score was 0-0. The only goal in the game was scored by Triton Miguel Medina at 79:25 assisted by JJ Schmeck. Trojan Keeper Sergio Barrera had 7 saves and Triton Keeper, Arturo Oberto had 3 saves and recorded the shutout. Everett Men are not 1-4-1 in league with 4 points, 2-4-2 overall with 16 points for, 17 points against and 1 shutout. Edmonds Men are 4-2-0 in league with 12 points, 4-5-1 overall with 10 goals for, 13 goals against and 4 shutouts.

 

Results vs Whatcom (10/1) - Everett Soccer was in Bellingham, WA on the campus of Whatcom CC to play the Orcas in league soccer games on Wednesday Oct. 1st. The Men started at 5:15pm and the first half had no goals scored for either team. Everett had 20 shots on goal and Whatcom had 3 shots with 2 getting past to score to win 2-0. In the 71st minute, Nathan Haddock scored, assisted by Josh Miller and Miller scored in the 87th minute with the assist from Shawn Cooley. Orca Keeper Andrew Wildfong recorded the shutout. Everett Men are now 1-5-1 in league with 4 points, 2-5-2 overall with 16 goals for, 19 goals against and 1 shutout. Whatcom Men are 5-1-1 in league with 16 points, 7-1-1 overall with 14 goals for, 3 goals against and 6 shutouts.

 

Results vs Skagit Valley (10/4) - On the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 4th, the Trojan Soccer Teams and the Skagit Valley College Cardinals Soccer Teams were at Kasch Park to play league games on field #2. The Men's game started at 2:15pm and at 4:05 minutes into the game the first goal was scored by Cardinal Eleazar Galvan with the assist from Sean Wagner. Everett had scored a goal about 10 minutes later, but it was waived off for the offsides call from the sidelines ref. At 41:13, Trojan Adrian Cayetano scored with the assist from Julio Aguilar to tie the game up going into half time 1-1. At the 73:01 mark, Cardinal Eduardo Perez scored their second goal assisted by Olegario Orozco to lead 2-1. On a pass from Ashafani Carlson, Cardinal Edwin Tinoco scored their third and final goal at 80:40 to win the game 3-1. Everett Keeper Sergio Barrear and Skagit Keeper Abel Blanco each had 4 saves. Everett Men are now 1-6-1 in league with 4 points (5th in the Northern Region), 2-6-2 overall with 17 goals for, 22 goals against and 1 shutout. Skagit Men are now 3-4-0 in league with 9 points (3rd in the Northern Region), 5-4-0 overall with 18 goals for, 14 goals against and 2 shutouts.

 

Results vs Trinity Lutheran College (10/8) - The Men's Soccer Team hosted Trinity Lutheran College in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 8th. The game was played at Lincoln Park on the campus of Everett High School and started at 7:00pm. The Trojans moved their lineup around to try some new things and unfortunately it was a rough start for them. TLC's Peiman Pahlevan scored the Eagles first goal at 1:45 after the start of the game. At 7:58, Eagles Rolando Robles scored their second goal and at the 24:45 mark his team mate Bryant Maxey scored their third goal. Eagle Matt Solis scored their fourth goal at 32:46 to send it into half time leading 4-0. After the start of the second half, Trojan Aldair Espiritu scored at 57:17 and at 85:28 to give Everett their only two goals of the game. Right before the final whistle, Eagle Tim Knoles scored their fifth and final goal to win 5-2 over the Trojans. Trojan Keepers Jesse Avelar had 2 saves in the first half and Ryan Peters had 4 saves in the second half. Eagle Keeper Christos Voglis had 1 save. Everett Men are now 1-6-1 in league with 4 points, 2-7-2 overall with 19 goals for, 27 goals against and 1 shutout.

 

Results vs Shoreline (10/11) - The Men's game began at 2:15pm and in the first five minutes of the game, Shoreline's Amir Roushenas scored their only goal. At the 13:50 mark, Everett's Adrian Cayetano scored to tie the game up at 1-1. Then at 24:20, Cayetano scored his and the teams second goal to take the lead 2-0 and at the end of the 90 minutes, that was how it ended with Everett winning 2-0. Trojan Keepers, Sergio Barrera had 1 save & Ryan Peters had 6 saves. Dolphin Keepers, Vincente Apericio had 3 saves and Kamal Gulaliyev had 4 saves. Everett Men are now 2-6-1 in league with 7 points, 3-7-2 overall with 21 goals for, 28 goals against and 1 shutout. Shoreline Men are also 2-6-1 in league with 7 points, 3-8-1 overall with 18 goals for, 24 goals against and 2 shutouts. Both Everett Men and Shoreline Men are tied for 4th place in the Northern Region.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Results vs Edmonds CC (10/15) - The league soccer games between the Trojans and the Tritons of Edmonds CC took place on Wednesday night, Oct. 15th at the Edmonds CC Multi-sport complex in Lynnwood, WA. In the first half of the Men's game, Triton Joey Briner scored their first goal in the 3rd minute of the game. Trojan Adrian Cayetano tied the game up on a pass from William Stohl in the 12th minute. The 1-1 tie was how the first half ended. Unfortunately for the Trojans, later in the first half, Cayetano suffered a season ending injury, which added him to the bench along with 4 other starters that are out on injuries. Despite Cayetano and the other starters being out, the Trojans attitude never gave up in the second half. The Tritons scored six goals in the second half to win the game 7-1 - 48th minute by JJ Schmeck; 50th minute Miguel Medina assisted by Zach Bush; 55th minute Schmeck assisted by Cristhian Robles; 78th minute Schmeck assisted by Carlos Videla; 83rd minute Schmeck assisted by Sergey Ptachik; 89th minute Ivan Idor assisted by Briner. Trojan Keepers Sergio Barrera had 4 saves and Ryan Peters had 2 saves with Triton Keeper Arturo Oberto had 3 saves. Everett Men are now 2-7-1 in league with 7 points, 3-8-2 overall with 22 goals for, 35 goals against and 1 shutout. Edmonds Men are now 6-3-1 in league with 19 points, 6-6-2 overall with 21 goals for, 18 goals against and 5 shutouts.

 

Results vs Whatcom CC (10/18) - The Orcas of Whatcom CC were at Kasch Park on Saturday, Oct. 18th to play league soccer games with the Trojans. The Men's game began at 2:15pm and at 15:30 of the game, Orca Josh Miller scored to take the lead. At the 29 minute mark, Miller assisted Emile Diffley for the Orcas second goal of the game. The Trojans were able to get on the board at 39:30 on a goal by Carlos Sierra on the assist from William Stohl. That was how the first half ended and the game, with the Orcas ahead 2-1. Trojan Keepers Sergio Barrera had 3 saves & Ryan Peters had 4 saves. Orca Keeper Andrew Wildfong had 3 saves. Everett Men are now 2-8-1 in league with 7 points, 3-9-2 overall with 23 goals for, 37 goals against and 1 shutout. Whatcom Men are now 6-2-3 in league with 21 points, 8-2-3 overall with 19 goals for, 8 goals against and 6 shutouts.

 

Results vs Skagit Valley (10/22) - The league soccer games between the Trojans and the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College took place Wednesday, Oct. 22nd in Mt. Vernon, WA. The Men's game began at 3:15pm and the Cardinals went on the attack, scoring five goals in the first half: 5th minute - Eswin Tinoco assisted by Eleazar Galvan; 11th minute - Alex Bell assisted by Tinoco; 13th minute - Tinoco assisted by Christian Garcia; 26th minute Galvan assisted by Eduardo Perez; & 38th minute - Garcia assisted by Galvan. The half time didn't slow the Cardinals down, Christian Thode scored their sixth goal at the 48th minute, three minutes into the second half. At the 65th minute, Perez scored on the assist from Galvan and at the 68th minute Tyler Free scored to make it 8-0. Trojan Paulo Mendes scored their only goal at the 78th minute. Cardinal Ifiokobong Ekpo scored two goals at the 83rd minute and the 88th minute, with Galvan assisting on the last one. Skagit Valley won 10-1. Trojan Keepers, Sergio Barrera had 5 saves & Jesse Avelar had 6 saves. Cardinal Keepers, Abel Blanco had 2 saves & Luis Garcia had 1 save. Everett Men are now 2-9-1 in league with 7 points, 3-10-2 overall with 24 goals for, 47 goals against and 12 shutout. Skagit Men are 6-4-1 in league with 19 points, 8-5-1 overall with 36 goals for, 19 goals against and 3 shutouts.

 

Results vs Shoreline (11/1) - The Men's Soccer Teams played the final league games of the 2014 season with Shoreline CC on Saturday, November 1st in Seattle, WA.  During the Men's game, the first half ended in a 0-0 tie, however six minutes into the second half, the Dolphins were able to get the only goal of the game past the Trojans Keeper to win the game 1-0. The goal was scored by Rodrigo Robles on the assist from Diogo Alves. Trojan Keeper, Sergio Barrera had 4 save and Dolphin Keeper, Sumani Gulaligev had 5 saves and recorded the shutout. Everett Men finished in last place (5th) in league with a record of 2-10-1 with 7 points and an overall record of 3-11-2 with 24 goals for, 48 goals against and 1 shutout. Shoreline Men finished in fourth place in league with a record of 4-8-1 with 13 points, an overall record of 5-10-1 with 22 goals for, 31 goals against and 3 shutouts.
