Former Trojan Megan Dedrick has been on fire for the West Coast Conference Loyola Marymount Lions. LMU is currently 21-14 with two games remaining before WCC play begins next week. Dedrick is playing 2B for the Lions and currently moved up to the cleanup spot, hitting .280 with 8 RBI's, 4 doubles, and 8 bases on balls in 75 AB's. Defensively she has also been a solid middle infielder with a .917 fielding percentage.
Dedrick was not always a softball player and spent much of her youth through high school playing baseball. Check out this great article in the Everett Herald by Nick Patterson on Megan's rise to success.
