In 12 games this preseason, Parsley is currently sporting the league's best batting average with a .590 average and is second in the NWAC with a .636 on base percentage. She is also second in doubles (9) and 8th in home runs (6).
"Megan Parsley is an incredible student-athlete who is dedicated to her sport and excels in the classroom," said Trojan head coach Randy Smith. "She is the type of athlete that continues to get better everyday. Megan is one of our toughest outs and is an intelligent player who provides clutch hits. As this year's co-captain, she is a leader on and off the field. We are very proud of her representing Everett Community College and as a freshman, she has already demonstrated a maturity that is typically seen at the end of one's sophomore year.
