Trojans Start Season 2-0

Coming off of their first win of the season, the Trojans Women's Basketball team took on Clark at home Monday night. The Trojans started off slow being down most of the first period of play struggling to find their shot. After being down by 2 at the end of the first period, the Trojans were able to rally back and take the lead by outscoring Clark 16-7 in the 2nd. Hannah Hezekiah lead the way with 11 points at half and Serafina coming up with 7 of her own.

The Trojans didn't slow up in the second half and continued to push the ball. All 7 of the Trojans played aggressive in their full court trap defense and distributed the ball well on offense. The Trojans were able to edge out Clark in the second half scoring 18 in the third and 14 in the fourth. Serafina Balderas, Hannah Hezekiah, Kelsey Mellick and Carolyn Brunner all had double digit scoring on the night. The Trojans went on to win by a final score of 61-51. The Trojans will play December 1st as they host Puget Sound at 1pm.
