Two Trojans scored over 20 points, to edge the Tacoma Titans 75-69 in the final non-conference game before league play begins next week. Sophomore Serafina Balderas lead all scorers with 27 points making 7 three pointers. Freshman Kelsey Mellick added another 22 points and 10 rebounds for her second double double of the season. Tacoma had a superior size advantage, out rebounding the Trojans 53-43, but a strong effort by Carolyn Brunner and Morgan Marshall with 10 and 11 rebounds respectively helped to keep things from getting out of hand.
The win marks the 5th of the season for Everett heading into conference play which will begin next Saturday against Whatcom Community College.
