The Trojans took on Green River in a first round matchup at the Women's Classic at Everett Community College. The Trojans played a strong game winning by a score of 70-33. Morgan Marshall led the way for the Trojans with 15 points in 28 minutes. Four of the five starters for the Trojans finished with double digit scoring. As a team, the Trojans shot the ball well finishing at 47% from the field. The Trojans controlled the paint bringing down 50 rebounds to Green Rivers 25 and scoring 34 points in the paint.
Finishing out the starters was Trinidee Kahunahana with 9 points, Alexa Martin with 12 points, Hannah Hezekiah with 11 points and Kelsey Mellick with 11 points. Larsa Guzman added notable minutes as she finished with 8 rebounds in 21 minutes of play.
The Trojans will play their next match tomorrow at 8pm here at the Walt Price Center.
