Robyn Peckol-Filimaua has stepped down after seven seasons as the Trojan's head women's volleyball coach.  The search for a new head coach will begin immediately according to Athletic Director Garet Studer.  "It's always tough at this time of year to hire for coaches, especially for a fall sport like volleyball," said Studer.  "But this is a great job in the NWAC.  We have a beautiful facility, offer the maximum allottment of scholarships as per the NWAC rules, and have tremendous administrative support for athletics on our campus.  I believe we will still attract the right person to build this program into one of the top contenders in the NWAC."  

In Robyn's tenure, she led the Trojan's to three straight playoff appearances (the most in program history), and in 2014 advanced to the Elite 8 of the conference's 16-team double elimination championship tournament.  Five players were named to either first or second team all north region and many received opportunities to continue their athletic and academic careers at 4-year college's and universities.

"We know we are working with a short time-line and want to keep the position open as long as we can to get a qualified pool," said Studer.  "But we also want to give the person that comes in as much time as possible to prepare for the upcoming season."
