Trojans Come Up Short At Home

The Trojans took on South Puget Sound at home coming off a 3-0 win last Friday over Green River. The Trojans were right there with Puget Sound in the first set. After Everett pulled the game within two at 11-9, Puget Sound went on to rally out the first set winning by a score of 25-14. Puget Sound carried that momentum into the second set but the Trojans would continue to battle. The Trojans found themselves in a similar situation as the first set being down 11-7. Puget Sound once again went on a streak and found themselves up 2 sets to 0. Kasey Dale lead the Trojans with 4 kills. The entire team showed a lot of heart down to the final points. The Trojans found themselves down 22-15 in the final set but continued to battle it out. The Trojans pulled within 2 at 23-21 but Puget Sound would win the next to points to take the match 3-0. The Trojans go on the road to the Centralia Crossover and play 3 matches in 2 days.
