Jay Franco
Title: Strength and Conditioning Coach
Phone: 425-388-9326

Jay found his passion for working with others starting as an exercise specialist at a physical therapy clinic in 2018. While working at the clinic, Jay spent time volunteering at Everett High School with the basketball program. In 2021, Jay was hired as the Women’s Basketball assistant coach at EvCC. Since that time, he has started working with multiple athletic teams as a strength and conditioning coach in the weight room to prepare them in the offseason, as well as maintenance programs during the season. Jay’s approach to working with athletes is based on hard work, discipline, and ensuring that athletes get the most out of their potential not only as an athlete, but also as a person.

In 2022, Jay graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Kinesiology, with a specialization in Exercise Science. He is currently working towards attending graduate school for a master’s degree in teaching.

In his spare time, you can always catch him in the gym going through his own training because he is a strong believer in practicing what you preach. When he’s not in there, he’s likely spending time with his dog Opie, who is likely to come in for the occasional visit. He also enjoys reading and spending quality time with his loved ones.
