Whitney Williams took over the Everett Community College volleyball program in January of 2020 after six years as head volleyball coach at Arlington High School in Arlington, Washington. After a postponed and abbreviated COVID season in the Spring of 2021, she has since put the volleyball program on the path to success. In 2022, she led the Trojans to a Top 10 ranking in the NWAC, a tie for Third Place in the North Region, and a playoff spot in the NWAC Championships for the first time since 2014. The Trojans completed the season with a Top 12 finish, along with four players receiving North Region All Stars honors and Wiliams earning NWAC North Region Coach of the Year.

Williams joined Arlington High School as head coach in 2014 and made an immediate impact leading the Eagles to the first of three WESCO Championships. In addition, Williams' team earned a District Championship in 2016 and their first State Tournament appearance in 20 years that same year. The 2019 season proved to be the most successful season to date with an undefeated 14-0 regular season record and first State Tournament trophy in program history with a sixth place finish. Williams was recently named the 2019 WESCO Coach of the Year and The Everett Herald's All-Area Coach of the Year.

Prior to Arlington High School, Williams was an assistant coach for Timpview High School in Provo, Utah from 2010-2013 where she was integral in leading the volleyball program to two State Championships and a runner-up finish.

Williams grew up in Arlington, Washington where she attended and played volleyball at Arlington High School. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a degree in Exercise Science and minors in Business,  Coaching and Teaching Physical Education. She began her coaching career while attending BYU as a coaching intern for the Women's Volleyball team.
