After the previous weekend of weather delays and postponements, the Trojans got back to the typical Saturday/Sunday, four game series against a middle of the pack Skagit Valley team. Game 1 in Everett saw the Trojans down early trailing 2-1 after 5 innings, and eventually trailing 4-1 going into the bottom 9th. A Kenny McCormick triple drove in 2 runs to bring EvCC to within 1 run, but a questionable strike three call would cut the comeback short and Everett CC would pick up just their 2nd loss all season to a North Region opponent. The loss refocused the talented EvCC group, and the Trojans went on to win Game 2 in Everett, and then both games at Skagit Valley College on Easter Sunday convincingly. McCormick had a stellar weekend, hitting .385 driving in 6 RBI's on 5 of 13 hitting and Charlie Larson went five of 16 with two walks, 3 doubles, 4 runs, and 2 RBI's from the lead off position. The series win puts the Trojans at 29-6 overall with a 13-2 North region record, two games ahead of 2nd place Edmonds.
