Trojan Volleyball Hosts Rival Edmonds in a T Trophy Showdown

Everett, WA - The Trojans hosted rival Edmonds Wednesday night with T Trophy points at stake. The Trojans came to play in this match against Edmonds, still looking for their first conference game win.

The first set did not start well for the Trojans as they found themselves down early. As the first set progressed, the Trojans got down by a score of 18-12. The Trojans gained momentum going on a 7 to 2 run to put the score 20-19. But after a few critical errors, Everett could not recover and ultimately fell 25-22 in a hard fought battle.

Stasia Kaahanui lead the Trojans with 11 kills in the match putting her total at 53 on the season.

The Trojans never regained much momentum against a tough Edmonds team Wednesday night after falling short in the first set. Edmonds was able to maintain a lead most of the second and third set to take the match in three sets.  The Trojans have a quick turnaround as they go on the road to Skagit Friday October 4th. The Trojans saw some improvement against Edmonds and look to carry that over on the road as they take on a 6-22 Skagit team.
