Hot Bats for the Trojans

Hot Bats for the Trojans

The Trojans took on Olympic College, coming off of a split with Bellevue over the weekend.  The same hot bats that showed up in the 12-7 win over Bellevue showed up in game one against Olympic.

In the top of the 1st inning Charis Jones led off with a triple, and then proceeded to score off of an error to get the juices flowing.  Then in the 3rd inning the fireworks really started as Everett put up 5 runs highlighted by the 2nd triple of the game, this one from Kayla Tuaoa.  Everett slammed the door closed in the 7th with 7 more runs, first it was Kayla Tuaoa making noise with a 3 run homerun, followed by a Kaitlynn Bridgwater 3 run double.  The final score ended 13-2.

Game 2 had the Trojans up 6-0 in the 2nd inning before an injury to the Olympic pitcher ended the game.  Olympic only suited up 9 players and did not have anyone else to enter.

Everett will play in its first home doubleheader of the spring this Friday against Edmonds.  First pitch is scheduled for 2pm, and spectators will be permitted.
