PR's and NWAC Bests

Tacoma, WA - It was a day of personal (and life time) bests for the Trojan Track and Field this past weekend at the Pacific Lutheran University Invitational.  Additionally, two Trojans now find themselves atop the NWAC performance lists. Mattason Straub had a huge PR in the 100m, running 12.73 and topping Ujunwa Nwakoma of Mt. Hood CC who ran 12.94 on the same day.  This time took the top spot in the NWAC from Isabelle Hightower of SW Oregon CC.  

Javon Gray won the long jump and triple jump with marks of 22'8.5" and 49'0.75" respectively.  Both of these PR's place him atop the NWAC in both events over Jonah Tactay of Lane CC.

Other solid performances include Gabe Heckman's PR in the discus of 121'7" (5th in the NWAC), Grace Wright PR in the discus with a mark of 116'5" (5th in the NWAC), and Livii Fetterley PR'd in the 200m with a time of 27.31 (2nd in the NWAC) and the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.23 (5th in the NWAC).

Season best marks occured for Mohammud Mohammud in the 100m (11.36 & 5th in the NWAC), Chris Gray ran 51.26 in the 400m (3rd in the NWAC), Tracey Hatch ran 1:04.86 in the 400m (4th in the NWAC), Ellee London ran 5:09.76 in the 1500m (5th in the NWAC), and Avery Daniels ran 19:18.65 in the 5000m (3rd in the NWAC).
