Straub, Gray PR at Doris Heritage Track Festival

Seattle, WA - On another rainy weekend, several members of the track team competed at the Doris Heritage Track Festival at West Seattle Stadium.  Seven Trojans set personal bests including Mattason Straub who broke her previous long jump mark by over a foot and a half.  Her new mark of 15' 1.25" now ranks her third in the NWAC.  Another PR was set by Christopher Gray in the 200m.  He ran 22.94, shaving off .19 seconds, and moving himself up to the #7 spot on the NWAC performance list.   Other notable PR's included Aiden Luhr's 200m time of 22.94, Caden Carrigan's 100m time of 11.98, Jamira Barnes' 15'2.75 long jump and 25'10" shot put, and Caelyn Foster's 1,500m time of 5:56.2.

The next track meets are scheduled for March 26th at the Peyton-Shotwell Invitational hosted by the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA and the Buc Scoring Multi Events at Whitworth University that same weekend.
