The Trojan Volleyball team clinched a trip to the NWAC playoffs for the first time in 9 years by finishing 4th in the North Region Standings. Third-year head coach Whitney Williams, turned around an Everett program that had won just two north region matches in a four year period. In 2021 the team won 3 north region matches (9 overall) and used that momentum along with sophomore leaders in Sarah Campfield, Jayda Grosboll, and Erin Ingram to go 7-5 in North Region play and post a 19-15 overall record, the first winning record since 2015....
On sophomore night the Trojans faced first place in the north and #5 ranked in the NWAC Bellevue Bulldogs. EvCC clinched a trip to the playoffs for the first time since 2014 last week, but lost in the previous match to Skagit Valley on the road, and were looking to close out the regular season with what could be a momentous upset win.
Former Trojan assistant coach A’Laishia Redden led her new team, the Shoreline Dolphins to the Walt Price Center for a matchup against her sister M’Kailah Redden (current assistant coach for EvCC) and the newly ranked #10 Everett Trojans. The Trojans have not been ranked inside the top 10 since 2014, but the new-found territory did not phase them on faculty appreciation night....
After a disappointing three set loss to Bellevue on the road last Friday, the Trojans had a full week to gear up for the second round of north region action. Back on September 21st, Everett shocked the region by upsetting then ranked #5 Whatcom in a dramatic five set affair at the Walt Price Center....
On Wednesday night, the Trojans hosted #5 ranked Skagit Valley who boasted a 9-2 overall record, winners of four straight matches including a 3-1 win over Everett back on September 17th in a non-conference crossover tournament match...

Friday’s road match was cancelled due to Shoreline CC’s COVID protocols which ultimately ended in a forfeit and Trojan win...
Riding a four game win streak the Trojans were back at the Walt Price Center, hosting an NWAC Crossover Tournament, the final weekend of non-conference matches before region play begins next week. EvCC hosted seven other programs from across the NWAC, four of which were ranked in the NWAC top 10 coaches poll including #2 North Idaho, #6 Lane, #7 Highline, and #9 Skagit Valley....
The Trojans got the 2022 season underway with a trip to Bellingham for a pre-season tournament hosted by Whatcom CC. Everett faced quality opponents in Pierce College, Rogue CC, Highline College, and Walla Walla CC all four of which were playoff teams last season...
