The Trojan Male Athlete of the Week is Basil Hendrix. The sophomore left handed pitcher from Woodinville has been electric on the mound for EvCC, atop the statistical charts in the NWAC ranking 3rd in strikeouts with 74 and 10th in ERA among starting pitchers with a 1.83. In his start against Douglas College he went 8 full innings, giving up just 3 hits and two walks, with no runs, and racking up 14 strikeouts. Hendrix leads a potent Trojan pitching staff with 59 innings pitched and in that time has an 11.29 K/9 average with just 12 runs allowed all season and a WHIP of 1.08. Basil has already committed to attend school and play baseball next season at George Mason University.
