T-Trophy Rivalry

The Edmonds Community College vs Everett Community College rivalry, has over 50 years of history in athletic competition.  Since Edmonds opened it's doors in 1967, the Tritons and Trojans have intensely competed against one another for NWAC Championships, Regional Championships, and  Snohomish County bragging rights.  

Though the rivarly has existed for decades, the "T" Trophy was established for the 2018-2019 athletic year in which the Tritons and Trojans would go head to head in the sports that each school offered.  Currently both schools offer women's soccer, men's soccer, men's cross country, women's cross country, volleyball, women's basketball, men's basketball, softball, and baseball.  In total, the two schools will face each other 22 times in regular season play.  For both men and women, each sport will be treated as a "series", and whichever school wins the series for that particular sport and gender will earn a point.  If the series is a split, both schools will earn a half point.  There are nine possible points to win with the nine different men's and women's sports.  In the event of a tie (both schools at 4.5 points) any head to head, Everett vs Edmonds playoff game results will be used.  If a tie still exists, placing in the regular season North Region standings among all sports will determine the winner.
