
The Trojans capped off an incredibly competitive 2023-2024 year with recognition from the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCCA) who announced the final standings in the prestigous Daktronics and Learfield Cups. The Trojans finished 13th in the State Association Division and 26th in the Learfield Directors Cup. There are 146 colleges in the State Association Division (west coast) and over 660 two-year colleges across the country that compete in the Learfield Directors Cup.

Cross Country
The men finished 7th overall as a team, the highest team finish in the past three seasons, led by Yahir Marban who placed 10th overall the highest individual finisher since 2013; The women were led by sophomore Emma Arceo who won the Northwest Region Championship; As a team they won the NW region and placed 4th overall at NWAC's; 3 athletes made the academic honor roll.

Women's Soccer
6-7-1 overall record, defeated Edmonds twice and narrowly missed a playoff berth by finishing 4th in the north standings; Paige Runcorn & Emily Morandi received all north region selection and were invited to play in the NWAC All Star Game; 11 team members made the academic honor roll and the team GPA 3.13; Emily Marriott and Emily Morandi both signed to continue playing at 4 year colleges.

12-2-5 record and advanced to NWAC quarterfinals; ranked as high as #2 in the NWAC & #4 in the nation; 68 goals scored broke the EvCC single season team record last season (67); Goalkeeper Avary Olson made 138 career saves and 12 shutouts both rank the most all time at EvCC; Cristiano Whitaker was all north region and scored the 2nd most goals all time in a single season (20); 12 wins ties the 2nd most in a single season and only 2 losses ties for least amount in a single season; Seven team members made the academic honor roll.

22-13 record and a second straight trip to NWAC playoffs, winning a match to place in the top 12; The 14.4 points per set and 19.3 digs per set both rank as highest all time at EvCC; Three Trojans received All Region honors, including Cam Clarke who was named First Team All Region and was also NWAC player of the week 4 times which has never before been done at EvCC in any sport; 10 team members made the academic honor roll; Team GPA of 3.07

Record improved to 11-17 this season up 8 wins from a season ago; Highlight wins over Olympic on sophomore night, and a thrilling win over Whatcom to finish the season; Baylor Thomas led the NWAC in scoring and also set an all time EvCC single season record for the most made free-throws. Jada Andresen was top 3 all time in made three pointers; Thomas was second team All North Region; 4 team members made the academic honor roll.

19-11 overall record in Daniel Thompson's 1st year as head coach; 5th time in past 6 seasons that MBB made the playoffs; Team advanced to the Elite 8; Statistically the team had the best field goal percentage in program history (49.5%) & 3rd best free throw percentage (74.2%); 2 players received post season honors including Derek Smith who was First Team All Region and an NBCA All American; 9 individuals appeared on the academic honor roll.

Khalil Gilbert was a 4x All American, winning the long jump, placing 3rd in the 400m, and led off both relay teams that placed 3rd, he was also the team's high point winner; Denna Gibb won the javelin throw, and was less than an inch away from breaking the EvCC all time record; All total, EvCC had six All American's and 9 athletes made the podium (Top 8); The women placed 9th overall as a team, and the men placed 7th overall; 8 individuals appeared on the academic honor roll; Denna Gibb named female athlete of the year & Khalil Gilbert named male athlete of the year.

Softball
24-12 overall record and finished 2nd in the north region in head coach Randy Smith's 22nd season and picked up his 474th career win; Team qualified for the NWAC playoffs for the third straight season; 9 were named to the all region teams, including 5 that were First Team All Region; Emma Hansen tied a single season EvCC record for triples (5); Alli Wilson 4th all time in career runs (89) and 3rd all time in career walks (45); 6 sophomores graduated with a team GPA of 3.50, and 11 individuals made the academic honor roll.

Named the EvCC Team of the year; 31-16 overall record winning the north region championship for the 6th time in the past 8 seasons; The team qualified for the NWAC playoffs for the 8th straight season; advanced to Longview and finished Top 6 in the NWAC; 10 Trojans received all region honors and 3 were named All NWAC; Ethan Hubbell & Jonah Shull named 2nd Team All Americans; Ezra Lacina named North Region assistant coach of the year; Keith Hessler named North Region Head Coach of the Year; Several of the sophomores are moving on to continue their playing careers including many at Division I; the team GPA is 3.15 and 27 individuals made the academic honor roll.
