Ed Bucklin

Ed Bucklin played golf and basketball for the Trojans in 1948 and 1949.  In golf, he led the team to state golf championships in both years, and was the Junior College State Medalist both years as well.  Bucklin was also the Everett City Champion in 1948, and is a three-time Snohomish County Amateur Champion, winning the tournament in 1947, 1949, and 1950.  He also won the Southern French Open championship in 1952.  Ed served as an assistant golf pro at both the Everett Golf & Country Club (1954-1955) and the Overlake Country Club (1956-1959) before settling down in Moses Lake, where he was the Head Golf Professional from 1960 until his retirement in 1982.

Bucklin was presented the Ben Hogan Service Award for his years of service on the advisory staff of the Ben Hogan Company in 1980.
