Cindy Yahne Peterson
Cindy Yahne Peterson competed at EvCC in 1978 and is the EvCC record holder in the 800m (2:15.3) and 1500m (4:40.6), and her times in the 5,000m (18:26.6) and 10,000m (38:54) are inside the top ten performances in school history. She ranks as one of the overall top performers in the history of track and field at EvCC. Peterson went on to compete at Brigham Young University where she is a member of their Hall of Fame. She is married to a runner and continues to enter marathon events near her home in Utah.
