Aaron Cunningham

A 2004 graduate of South Kitsap High School, Cunningham played one year at Everett CC before embarking on a successful major league baseball career. His single season here attracted the attention of a number of professional scouts, and he was selected in round six by the Chicago White Sox in the 2005 MLB draft. His career included stops in Chicago (Cubs and White Sox), Arizona, Oakland, San Diego, Cleveland, and Texas. In total Aaron had 10 seasons in the minors where he hit .292 with 88 home runs, 453 RBI's, and 100 stolen bases.  In the majors he tallied five seasons hitting .219 with 51 RBI's 7 home runs, and 99 hits.  Following his major league career, Cunningham started a custom furniture design and woodworking company in Avon, Ohio.
