Seth Pierson ran both cross country and track for the Trojans in 2010 and 2011.  For cross Seth was an integral member of the teams that finished 2nd in the NWAACC in both 2009 and 2010.  Seth placed 10th overall in 2009 and 6th overall in 2010.  He held the team’s fastest 8k time that season of 25:45.6.

His most distinctive accomplishments came on the track where he specialized in the middle distances.  In his freshman year, Seth took 6th in the 800m and finished first in the 1,500m, scoring 13 total points and finishing as the teams high point scorer.  In his sophomore track season, Seth repeated as the NWWAAC 1,500m champion and set a PR earlier in the season with a time of 3:52.82 at the Oregon Preview meet.  That time is behind only fellow Hall of Famer Gene Cummings on the EvCC All Time List and ranks 8th on the NWAC All Time List.  In the same season Seth also set a new PR in the 800m with a time of 1:54.05, which ranks 6th on the EvCC All Time List.

Seth was named the EvCC male student athlete of the year and went on to compete at Seattle Pacific University where he went on to win the GNAC title in the 1500 and placed 18th at NCAA DII national Championships.   Seth and his wife of 10 years, who was at EvCC to cheer him on during his racing days, live in Wenatchee and have two sons and a dog.  Seth is the director of finance for an agricultural company and he still enjoys running almost every day.
