After a tough opening weekend of the season down in Oregon, the Trojans looked to better their non-conference record in a four-game rematch series at home with Linn-Benton CC. The Roadrunners took games one and two on Saturday by final scores of 4-3 and 4-2 on Sunday. In both games, Everett had opportunities to win in the bottom of the 9th, but came up just short. Sunday faired better for the boys in red, and games three and four resulted in 6-3 and 4-2 wins. Key performances on the weekend include Max Samson's 3 RBI's, Carter Booth's .375 average, Ocean Gabonia and Alec Schuldt each striking out 8 batters and perhaps the top performance was by freshman Aaron Barber who hit .333 in 16 at bats, with a .500 on base percentage, 2 RBI's, 2 doubles, and a triple.
