Trojans hold off Olympic in final minutes

 The Trojans Men's Basketball team (15-3) hosted Olympic (4-14) Wednesday night at the Walt Price Student Fitness Center. The Trojans came into the game seeking their third win in conference play on the season.

The Trojans took an early lead starting the game with an 8-0 run over Olympic. The Trojans were able to hold a double-digit lead for most of the first half as they went into halftime up 47-30.

Six players for the Trojans finished the game with double digits as the team shot 47% from the field and 43% from three. Cameron Underwood led the team with 18 points. Bobby Martin had an efficient night scoring 17 points on 6-9 shooting. Devin Smith finished with another double-double on the season finishing with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Piol Makuei, Tyler Walker and Elijah Seybold all finished with 10 points.

Olympic was able to close the gap to down 6 with about 15 minutes left in the second half but the Trojans quickly went on a 10-2 run to go up 15 with 11 minutes to go. The Trojans were able to hang on to their lead down the stretch and win by a score of 84-70. The Trojans are now 4-1 in conference play and look to continue their 3 game winning streak Saturday at Peninsula.
