Dunk City in Everett

Everett, WA - The Trojans eclipsed the century mark for the 2nd time this season en route to the 115-87 win over Edmonds College and got back above .500 at 6-5 on the abbreviated spring season.  Everett built a 7 point lead inside the first three minutes of the game and stretched it out to 21 by the 7:14 minute mark.  EvCC went into the half up 40-59 and was led by freshman Brendon Redford with 15 points.

The largest lead of the game for the Trojans came five minutes into the second half when Cam Millican made a nice move to the hoop putting EvCC up by 33 points.  Moments later Brendon Redford threw down the 5th dunk of the game for Everett and at that point it seemed that momentum would never sway back in favor of Edmonds.  The cusion would remain right around 30 points for the rest of the game and eventually settle at a 28 point margin.

All five starters for the Trojans scored in double figures. Brendon Redford led EvCC with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 4 assists.  Cam Millican had one of his best nights of the season scoring a career high 21 points and adding 8 assists.  Devin Smith recorded his 19th career double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Jake Howe pitched in 15 points and Brycen Dillworth added 10 points and 7 assists.

In total the Trojans racked up 30 assists topping their season best of 29 over a month ago in their first meeting against Edmonds.

EvCC will play next Wednesday the 19th at home against 8-1 Skagit Valley.
