Muhammed Darboe was named the NWAC Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week as voted on by member coaches of the conference.  Muhammed tallied two goals for the Trojans in a big 3-2 win over rival Peninsula. With the team down 2-1 in the second half, Darboe had both the tying and eventual gaming winning goals in a span of three minutes. He had five shots on goal as he helped keep the Trojans undefeated.

This was the second time a member of the 2023 Men's Soccer team was named an NWAC Athlete of the Week.  Sophomore goalkeeper Avary Olson was named NWAC Defensive Athlete of the Week in week one of the season.  

Cami Clarke of EvCC Volleyball has also been twice named an NWAC Athlete of the Week.
