Mount Vernon, WA - The first in season NWAC Coaches poll was released this week and the Trojans came in at #10 after their 5-3 start which included an upset win over SW Oregon. EvCC had the opportunity to keep the momentum rolling into North Reigon play with a road doubleheader against Skagit Valley.
Game one started with Everett making an immediate statement, scoring two runs in the first inning thanks to disciplined at-bats and an RBI walk by Taryn Takayoshi. Alissa Hermansen added another run with a sacrifice fly.
