
Trojan softball bats were hot over the weekend, outscoring opponents 55-3 over four games, sweeping both Highline and Pierce in dominant fashion. The team's regional record improved to 7-1 while the overall record improved to 12-4, elevating EvCC to #8 in the latest RPI rankings.

March 29 vs. Highline (W, 18-1 & W, 21-0)
Everett's bats were on fire at Gaffney Field on Saturday, tallying 39 runs in the doubleheader sweep. Emmajoy Wise led the offensive charge, going .500 with two home runs and eight RBIs. Shayne Hoekendorf and Emma Hansen also delivered standout performances, combining for 16 RBIs over the two games.
In the circle, Alissa Hermansen and Taryn Takayoshi combined in the five inning, six hit performance with six strikeouts. Ava Puaatuua pitched lights out in game two, striking out 8 batters and throwing her first ever collegiate no hitter. -
March 30 at Pierce (W, 9-0 & W, 7-2)
Everett continued their dominance on the road, shutting out Pierce in Game 1 and securing a solid 7-2 victory in Game 2 on Sunday. Pitching was the key, as Hermansen and Taryn Takayoshi combined for 16 strikeouts across both games. Offensively, the team combined for 27 hits. Takayoshi, Renee Riggins, and Emma Hansen each had four, while Hansen and Emmajoy Wise combined for nine RBI's.
