Trojans Battle

The Trojans took Larry Walker Court for the first time this season as they hosted Christian Faith in a non-conference matchup Saturday night. The Trojans have been off to a hot start winning their first two games of the season.

Christian Faith and Everett battled back and forth all four quarters trading baskets and the lead all night. The Trojans largest lead of the night was 9 points in the second half but Christian Faith would ultimately make a late run to go on and win 78-70. As a team, the Trojans shot 33% from the field only getting to the line seven times in which they made six.

Hannah Hezekiah and Kelsey Mellick (Double-Double) both lead the Trojans shooting well with 19 points each. Morgan Marshall played well for the Trojans putting up 14 points as well as making some big plays for the Trojans offensively and defensively.

The Trojans look to come back strong Monday in the second of their four game home stand as they host Columbia Basin at 5:00pm.
