8/27 Results vs Clark

Claire Nelson for the Trojans scored in the 36th minute on the assist from Kristin Snyder. Clark tied the game just before the half when Ellie Quercia scored in the 40th minute. In the 67th minute, Nelson scored again to make it a 2-1 game, until the 89th minute when Camryn Cross scored Everett's third and final goal to win the game 3-1. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 6 saves and Clark Keeper had 11 saves. Everett is now 1-0-0 overall and Clark is 0-1-0 overall.

 

 

 

 

8/28 Results vs Bellevue

The Trojans scored in the 9th minute by Madison King, assisted by Baylee Houston, and then right before halftime, Claire Nelson scored on the assist from Kristin Snyder to make it 2-0 in favor of Everett. In the 79th minute, Nelson scored again and a minute later Snyder had another assist this time to Danielle Baker. The Bulldogs Rachel Baker scored their only goal in the 82nd minute. Bellevue Keeper Mikaela Powers had 14 saves. Everett Women are now 2-0-0 overall and Bellevue is 0-2-0 overall.

   

9/7 Results at Lane

On September 6th the Trojan Women's Soccer Team traveled to Eugene, OR to play the Lane CC Titans on Wednesday, September 7th. The non-league game started at 1:00pm. The Titans scored in the 6th minute by Jordyn Dion with the assist from Ally King. In the 10th minute, Dion assisted Pikake Hix to make it a 2-0 game in favor of Lane. The first half ended with that 2-0 score. Eight minutes into the second half at the 53rd minute, Titans Crystal Adame scored on the assist from Erica Ritter. The Trojans had some chances to score, but were unable to get the ball into the back of the net. Trojan Keeper, Myah Rhodes had 1 save while Titan Keepers Nora Goodrie had 2 saves and Abigail Ditter had 1 save. Everett is now 2-1-0 overall and Lane is 2-2-1 overall.

9/10 Results vs Edmonds

The league opener for the Trojan Soccer Teams took place on Saturday, September 10th at Kasch Park against the Edmonds CC Tritons. In the Women's game that started at 12:00pm, the Trojans jumped on the scoreboard with a goal by Claire Nelson at 2:49 into the game with the assist from Kristin Snyder. At 6:44 into the game, Trojan Karin Heisen scored on the assist from Nelson. Trojan Amanda Gonzalez scored their 3rd goal at 26:53. Snyder scored on the assist from Madison King at 29:08. At the end of the first half, Everett had the 4-0 lead. Sixteen minutes into the second half, at 61:09 the Tritons were able to get on the scoreboard with a goal from Layla Spurr. The Trojans added another goal at 69:32 from Baylee Houston on the assist from Nelson. The final goal of the game was scored at 85:28 by Trojan Heisen on the assist from Houston. This makes is a 6-1 victory for the Trojans. Everett Keeper Myah Rhodes had 3 saves and Edmonds Keeper Jourdyn Tollum had 13 saves. Everett Women are now 1-0-0 in league and 3-1-0 overall with 3 points, 13 goals for and 6 goals against. Edmonds Women are 0-1-0 in league and 0-3-0 overall with 0 points, 2 goals for and 14 goals against.

 

   

9/14 Results vs Peninsula

The Women's game started at 2:00pm and 44 seconds into the game, Maddy Parton scored the Pirates first goal of the game on the assist from Sydney Warren. Then at 16:05, Jazmin Ramos made it a 2-0 game in favor of Peninsula, and that was how the first half ended. During the second half, the Pirates scored their third goal at 78:08 by Ellie Small. Five minutes later, the Pirates scored their final goal by Bri Vallente on the assist from Hoku Afong. Everett was unable to score in the game and Peninsula won the game 4-0. Trojan Keeper, Myah Rhodes had 7 saves and Pirate Keepr Akari Hoshino had 4 saves. Everett Women are now 1-0-1 (win-tie-loss) in league and 3-0-2 overall with 3 points, 13 goals for and 10 goals against. Peninsula Women are 2-0-0 in league and 3-1-1 overall with 6 points, 11 goals for, 4 goals against and 3 shutouts.

9/17 Results at Whatcom

The Trojan Soccer Teams were at Whatcom CC in Bellingham, WA on Saturday, September 17th to play the Orcas in league games. In the Women's game that started at 12:00pm, the only goal in the first half was scored by Whatcom's Bostynn Barnes in the 33rd minute. The second half had 2 goals scored and both were by Whatcom. Their second goal was by Elizabeth Meyers with the assist from Leah Rostov in the 57th minute. Their third goal as in the 65th minute by Dasia Washington. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 4 saves and Orca Keeper Ciara Nice had 5 saves. Everett Women are now 1-0-2 (win-tie-loss) in league and 3-0-3 overall with 3 points, 13 goals for and 13 goals against. Whatcom Women are now 3-0-0 in league and 4-1-0 overall with 9 points, 12 goals for, 7 goals against and 3 shutouts.

9/21 Results vs Shoreline

Kasch Park on Wednesday, September 21st was the place that the Trojan Soccer Teams faced the Dolphins of Shoreline CC. The Women's league game started at 2:00pm and there was no goal scored in the first half until right before halftime at 44:44 by Shoreline's Careena Alaoui on the assist from Mikayla Morgan. The Dolphins kept that 1-0 lead until 81:18 when Everett's Kristin Snyder scored. At 82:46, Alaoui scored the Dolphins second goal. Trojan Karin Heisen tied the game up at 85:37. Alaoui scored her third goal and the go ahead/game winning goal at 89:29 for Shoreline. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 7 saves and Dolphin Keeper Nazarena Hernandez had 3 saves. Trojan Women are now 1-0-3 (win-tie-loss) in league and 3-0-4 overall with 3 points, 15 goals for and 16 goals against. Dolphin Women are now 2-1-1 in league and 4-1-1 overall with 6 points, 11 goals for, 5 goals against and 2 shutouts.

9/24 Results vs Skagit Valley

The Trojan Soccer teams hosted the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College on Saturday, September 24th at Kasch Park. The Women's game started at 12:00pm, and this was the Trojans game. Everett's Claire Nelson scored their first goal at 25:54 into the game. That goal was the only goal in the first half. In the second half, at 52:17, Kristin Snyder for Everett scored on the assist from Baylee Houston to make it a 2-0 game. Less than 10 minutes later, at 61:30, Nelson scored her second goal and Everett's third goal on the assist from Snyder. Then at 67:51, Karin Heisen scored the fourth and final goal on the assist from Nelson. Everett won 4-0. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes recorded the shutout and had 1 save, which was the only shot that the Cardinals had on goal in the game. Cardinal Keeper Tara Augustoni had 10 saves. Everett Women are now 2-0-3 (win-tie-loss) in league and 4-0-4 overall with 6 points, 19 goals for, 16 goals against and 1 shutout. Skagit Valley Women are now 0-0-5 in league and 0-1-6 overall with 1 goal for and 19 goals against.

   

9/28 at Edmonds

The Trojan Men's & Women's Soccer Teams played at Edmonds CC on Wednesday, September 28th for league games with the Tritons. The Women's game began at 4:00pm and in the 15th minute, Karin Heisen scored the Trojans first goal. At the 25th minute, Claire Nelson scored the Trojans second goal. Right before the end of the first half, Trojan Baylee Houston on the assist from Camryn Cross scored in the 41st minute to make it 3-0. The only goal in the second half was scored in the 64th minute by the Trojans Nelson. Everett won 4-0. Trojan Keeper had 4 saves and recorded the shutout. Triton Keepers Jourdyn Tollum had 2 saves and Justice Kleiner had 3 saves. Everett Women are now 3-0-3 (win-tie-loss) in league and 5-0-4 overall with 9 points, 23 goals for, 16 goals against and 2 shutouts. Edmonds Women are now 1-1-4 in league and 1-1-6 overall with 3 points, 5 goals for, 30 goals against and 1 shutout.

10/1 at Peninsula

The Trojan Soccer Teams traveled to Port Angeles, WA to play the Peninsula College Pirates in league games. The Women started at 12:00pm and there was only 1 goal in the game and it came in the 36th minute by Marriah Perez on the assist from Eleanor Small for the Pirates. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 4 saves and Pirate Keeper Akari Hoshino recorded the shutout and had 1 save. Everett Women are now 3-0-4 (win-tie-loss) in league and 5-0-5 overall with 9 points, 23 goals for, 17 goals against and 2 shutouts. Peninsula Women are now 7-0-0 in league and 8-1-1 overall with 21 points, 35 goals for, 4 goals against and 8 shutouts.

10/5 vs Whatcom

At the Trojan Nation Game Day on Wednesday, October 5th, the Trojan Soccer Teams hosted the Orcas of Whatcom CC in league games. The Women's game began at 2:00pm and at the 10:25 mark Trojan Claire Nelson scored on the assist from Kristin Snyder. The first half ended with the Trojans leading 1-0. Two minutes and 19 seconds into the second half at 47:19, Nelson scored her second goal, this time unassisted. At 54:16, Karin Heisen scored for the Trojans on the assist from Nelson to make it a 3-0 game. The final goal of the game came at 63:56 from Snyder on the assist from Heisen to give the Trojans the 4-0 win. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 4 saves while Orca Keeper Ciara Nice had 6 saves. Everett Women are now 4-0-4 (win-tie-loss) in league and 6-0-5 overall with 12 points, 27 goals for, 17 goals against and 3 shutouts. Whatcom Women are 5-1-2 in league and 6-2-3 overall with 16 points, 16 goals for,
20 goals against and 4 shutouts.

  

  

10/8 at Shoreline

The Trojan Men's & Women's Soccer Teams were at Shoreline CC to play the Dolphins. The league games were played on the Shoreline campus in Shoreline, WA and started at 12:00pm. In the Women's game, the Trojans scored first with a goal by Bailey Haynes-Formon in the 25th minute. The Dolphins answered in the 43rd minute with a goal from Brooklyn Gratzer on the assist from Taylor Simmons to make it a 1-1 game going into halftime. In the second half, the Dolphins scored again in the 65th minute by Madisson Lowdon. They scored their third and final goal, 3 minutes later by Sheylanne Thompson on the assist from Lowdon. Shoreline wins 3-1. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 2 saves and Dolphin Keeper Nazarena Hernandez had 6 saves. Everett Women are now 4-0-5 (win-tie-loss) in league and 6-0-6 overall with 12 points, 28 goals for, 20 goals against and 3 shutouts. Shoreline Women are now 4-3-2 in league and 6- 3-2 overall with 15 points, 17 goals for, 10 goals against and 4 shutouts.

10/12 at Skagit Valley

The Soccer Teams were in Mount Vernon, WA on Wednesday, Oct. 12th playing league games with the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College. The Women started at 2:00pm and while Cardinal Keeper Brittany DeNike had 17 saves, she wasn't able to stop all of the shots! Trojan Keeper recorded the shutout with 1 save. Everett scored 4 goals in the game - by Claire Nelson in the 6th minute; Danielle Baker on the assist from Baylee Houston in the 9th minute; Kristin Snyder in the 70th minute and Nelson in the 84th minute. Everett Women are now 5-5-0 (win-loss-tie) in league and 7-6-0 overall with 15 points, 32 goals for, 20 goals against and 4 shutouts. Skagit Valley Women are now 0-8-2 in league and 0-9-3 overall with 2 points, 2 goals for, 39 goals against and 1 shutout.

10/17 vs Edmonds

The postponed soccer games with Edmonds CC was moved to Monday, Oct. 17th from Saturday, Oct. 15th. Both league games took place on Field #2 of Kasch Park. In the Women's game that began at 2:00pm, Trojan Camryn Cross scored the first goal of the game at 13:10. Edmonds Natalie Brown answered to tie the game at 15:50. The score going into half time was tied 1-1. A little over 3 minutes into the second half, at 48:28, Karin Heisen scored on the assist from Baylee Houston to give Everett the 2-1 lead. At 63:16, Claire Nelson scored for Everett to make it a 3-1 game and that was how the game ended. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 3 saves and Triton Keeper Sarah Beck had 9 saves. Everett Women are now 6-5-0 in league and 8-6-0 overall with 18 points, 35 goals for, 21 goals against and 4 shutouts.

   

 

10/19 vs Peninsula

The Pirates of Peninsula College were in Everett on Wednesday, October 19th to play league soccer games with the Trojans. The Women's game started at 2:00pm at Kasch Park. While there were quite a few shots on goal for both teams, there was no goals scored in the first half. The first goal in the second half came in at 69:37 by Peninsula's Hoku Afong on the assist from Jayna Morikawa. The second and final goal of the game came in at 71:50 by Afong assisted by Coby Yoshimura. Peninsula wins 2-0. Trojan Keeper, Myah Rhodes had 4 saves and Pirate Keeper Akari Hoshino had 8 saves. Everett Women are now 6-6-0 in league and 8-7-0 overall with 18 points, 35 goals for, 23 goals against and 4 shutouts. Peninsula Women are the #1 team in the Northern Region with a 12-0-0 league record and an overall record of 13-1-1 with 36 points, 64 goals for, 5 goals against and 12 shutouts.

10/22 at Whatcom

Saturday afternoon, had the Trojan Men's & Women's Soccer Teams traveling north to Bellingham, WA to play the Orcas of Whatcom CC in league soccer games. The Women's game had the Trojans scoring in the 4th minute of the game on a goal by Baylee Houston. Twelve minutes later, the Trojans added another goal this time by Danielle Baker on the assist from Claire Nelson. In the 36th minute, the Orcas scored on a goal by Lyla Pagnotta, assisted by Bostynn Barnes. Going into half time Everett led 2-1. The second half had no goals scored for either team, so Everett won 2-1. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 2 saves and Orca Keeper Natalie LaTurner had 6 saves. Everett Women are 7-6-0 in league and 9-7-0 overall with 21 points, 37 goals for, 24 goals against and 4 shutouts. Whatcom Women are 7-4-2 in league and 8-5-3 overall with 23 points, 21 goals for, 27 goals against and 5 shutouts.

10/26 at Shoreline

The Mud Bowl of 2016 took place today, when the Trojans played league soccer games at Shoreline CC. The Dolphins field had parts with standing water puddles and lots of mud before the Women's game even started. Those field conditions only got worse as they played.  In the Women's game, Trojan Kristin Snyder on the assist from Claire Nelson scored in the 27th minute. The Trojans scored again before half time on a goal by Nelson with the assist from Baylee Houston in the 38th minute. At half, Everett led 2-0. Three minutes after the second half started, the Trojans scored their third and final in the 48th minute by Danielle Baker on the assist from Bailey Haynes Formon. Shoreline remained scoreless and Everett won 3-0. Trojan Keeper, Myah Rhodes recorded the shutout with 4 saves and Dolphin Keeper Nazarena Hernandez had 6 saves in the game. Everett Women are now 8-6-0 in league and 10-7-0 overall with 24 points, 40 goals for, 24 goals against and 5 shutouts. Shoreline Women are now 6-4-4 in league and 8-4-4 overall with 22 points, 27 goals for, 20 goals against and 6 shutouts.

10/29 vs Skagit Valley

he final regular league soccer games of the 2016 season took place on Saturday, October 29th when the Trojans hosted the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College. The
Women started at 12:00pm in a game that they needed to win to take 2nd place in the Northern Region. The Trojans started out on fire with their first goal coming from a Penalty Kick at 9:57 by Karin Heisen. Less than two minutes later at 11:20, Heisen assisted on the goal by Claire Nelson to make it a 2-0 game. At 15:34, Nelson assisted Danielle Baker to give the Trojans a 3-0 lead. Heisen scored the Trojans 4th goal of the game at 18:14 on the assist from Taylor Gobel. Nelson scored the 5th goal at 29:55 from Erika Hall to make it 5-0 going into halftime. The Trojans had 10 shots on goal in the first half to the Cardinals 1 shot. Skagit's head coach was issued a yellow card during halftime by the officials with the offense of "Dissent". Once the second half started, the Trojans 6th goal came at 52:57 from Kristin Snyder. The final goal of the game was scored by Nelson at 86:12 to give Everett the 7-0 win. Everett had a total of 25 shots on goal and Skagit Valley had 3. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes recorded the shutout with 2 saves while Cardinal Keepers, Tara Augustoni had 6 saves and Brittany DeNike had 3 saves. Everett is now 9-6-0 in league and 11-7-0 overall with 27 points, 45 goals for, 24 goals against and 6 shutouts and is the Northern Region #2 team! Skagit Valley finishes their season with a league record of 1-12-2 and 1-13-3 overall with 5 points, 4 goals for, 61 goals against and 1 shutout. 

11/2 NWAC Playoffs 2nd Round

The Trojan Women's Soccer Team hosted the Lakers of Southwestern Oregon CC in the 1st
Round Playoff Game on Wednesday, November 2nd. The game began at 2:00pm at Kasch Park and in the first half, the Trojans had 20 shots on goal and was able to score on two of them. First at 33:58 by Karin Heisen on the assist from Claire Nelson and then again at 44:49 by Danielle Baker on the
assist from Kristin Snyder. At half time, Everett led 2-0. In the second half, the Trojans really took over the game. They held the Lakers to only 4 shots on goal, while they had 15 shots and scored on 7 of them ~ 47:57 Baker from Nelson; 54:32 Baylee Houston from Nelson; 55:51 Baker; 64:24 Baker from Nelson; 72:31 Madison King from Nelson; 75:36 Snyder from Nelson; and 86:23 Nelson. Everett won 9-0. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes recorded the shutout and had 2 saves and Lakers Keeper Kadie Forderer had 18 saves. Claire Nelson had 1 goal & 6 assists; Danielle Baker had 4 goals; Kirstin Snyder had 1 goal & 1 assist; Karin Heisen, Baylee Houston & Madison King each had 1 goal. Everett is now 12-7-0 overall with 56 goals for, 24 goals against and 7 shutouts. Southwestern Oregon is now 7-11-0 overall with 27 goals for, 41 goals against and 4 shutouts. With this win, the Trojans advance to the 2nd Round on Saturday, November 5th. They will face the Highline CC Thunderbirds at Starfire Sports Complex starting at 12:00pm. 11/5 Loss in Final Four

On Saturday, November 5th, the Trojan Women's Soccer Team was at Starfire Sports Complex in Seattle, WA to play a 2nd Round Playoff Game with the Thunderbirds of Highline CC. The game started at 12:00pm and at the end of the first half the game was tied 0-0. Both teams had great shots on goal as well as going back and forth. There was no goals scored until the 71st minute on a goal that the Trojans thought was going to be called back due to a possible foul. The foul was never called and the goal was scored by Thunderbird Chentay Warnes with the assist from Madasin Jennings. Four minutes later, Jennings scored the second goal of the game on the assist from Haley Kern. Highline got the 2-0 win and advances to the Semi-Finals on November 11th. Trojan Keeper Myah Rhodes had 5 saves and Thunderbird Keeper Rachel Thompson recorded the shutout and had 4 saves. Everett finishes the 2016 season 9-6-0 in league and 12-8-0 overall with 12 points, 56 goals for, 26 goals against and 7 shutouts.
