Nicole Nsa (pronounced in-sah) was hired in late July of 2021 to lead the next era in Trojan women’s soccer after spending the previous season as an assistant coach at the College of Idaho.  There, she helped lead the women’s soccer team to one of their most successful seasons in program history and an appearance at the National Tournament for the first time in program history.  While with the Coyotes, Nsa worked primarily with the forwards and helped orchestrate the attack for the east division champs.  The offense scored 24 goals on the season and freshman forward Maddie Smith was named first team all-conference.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Nicole to the Trojan family, said Athletic Director Garet Studer.  As a former player, she brings incredible experience having played at the community college level, as well as at the Division I and II levels.  Her time at the College of Idaho with a highly competitive program has enhanced her experiences as a coach, and has prepared her to be a successful coach in the NWAC.”

Prior to COI, Nicole Nsa coached at Mountain View High School in Meridian, ID. She also coached with local youth soccer clubs in the Treasure Valley, Boise Timbers|Thorns and Idaho Rush.

Nsa played one year at Grand Canyon University, one year at Paradise Valley Community College and finished her playing career at Northwest Nazarene in 2016.  At Paradise Valley, Nicole led the team in goals scored on a Pumas team that captured the ACCAC Region I Championship.  Nicole secured NJCAA First Team All-American honors as well as Region I First Team and Player of the Year accolades.  In her college career she tallied 43 goals and 21 assists.

“I’m extremely excited to have been given the opportunity to help further develop the Women’s Soccer program here at Everett CC. I’m confident that with the help of our amazing student athletes and our dedicated coaching staff we will be able to consistently compete for the NWAC Championship each year”

Nsa has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management from NNU.  She also has an abundance of experience working in the nonprofit sector through the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA.  She recently moved to the Pacific Northwest with her cat Oliver and enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
