Rachel Cundy returned to the EvCC Coaching Staff in the summer of 2022 as the assistant cross country coach but was soon after promoted to interim head coach after a coaching change just prior to the 2022 season.  Cundy was a 3x All American at Everett Community College in both cross country and track and field back in 2012 and 2013.  In the 2012 season she helped led the team to the programs 2nd straight NWAC cross country championship and in 2013 she was the NWAC individual champion in the 10k on the track.  She went on to compete at Lewis & Clark State where she was an NAIA All American and set school records in the 10k and 3k events.  

After graduating from LC State she returned to Everett and coached under Matt Koenigs as an assistant during the 2016 season, a year in which the women's cross team finished 2nd in the NWAC.  Rachel stepped away from coaching to focus on her doctorate in physical therapy which she recently achieved from George Fox University in the spring of 2020.  Rachel's 2012 women's cross country team was inducted into the EvCC Hall of Fame in 2018 and Rachel herself was inducted into the EvCC Hall of Fame as an individual in 2020.
